Bio / Accomplishments

Hey all, grandmaster Zerg Michael ‘Spanishiwa’ Yabut here! I’ve played RTS games since 2004, starting with Brood War and then later picking up Warcraft 3 as well as DotA. In Brood War I played a custom map called Diplomacy 7.7 with the clan Soviet. I picked up Starcraft 2 around beta patch 9, when beta keys were being released with GameStop pre-orders. My original username was Spanishiwa, but when I was picked up by Vile Gaming I had to shorten it and thus vileSpanshwa was created. You might have seen me in a recent rise in e-fame from popular sites such as reddit and teamliquid buzzing about my queen centric delayed gas style.

My strategies are very unique often show casing a high number of queens, overseers and hive tech units in all of my match ups. I use hit and run tactics via drops and nydus wyrm usage to keep my opponent off balance as I macro hard behind the harass. I hope to flesh out some more strategies and perform well at this year’s MLG tournaments!
