Bio / Accomplishments

Hey my name is Mihai “Mihai” Avrigeanu and I’ve been playing video games since the young age of 5. Starting out with classic games such as WarCraft/WarCraft 2/Red Alert, I quickly developed a passion for the RTS genre, albeit not limiting myself to only these games. My first contact with eSports was at the age of 13, where I first discovered WCG (world cyber games) through WarCraft 3 and StarCraft.  As such, I gravitated towards the competitive BroodWar scene in the year 2007, finally playing at very high levels in late 2009 after joining team NrG. Upon the release of StarCraft 2, I immediately took up the challenge of becoming a serious progamer. Although flying somewhat under the radar, I have already posted some notable achievements such as winning both TLOpen #3 and CraftCup #8, backed up by some solid results in both online and offline tournaments, as well as constant success in clanwar matches. My hopes are that 2011 will be my chance to sore through to the very top level of professional StarCraft 2 gaming!
